In the Hextol Catering department, you will be fully supported whilst cooking meals for our lunch club as well as helping to produce buffets, scones and other goods for our customers.
You will get experience of working in a professional kitchen. We will teach you about food hygiene and health and safety.
If you love cooking and baking then the catering team could be for you! As well as preparing the food for events and businesses, we also run a lunch club 3 times per week which you are welcome to join, free of charge.
No experience is necessary – we will train you with the skills you need in the kitchen. If you already have some experience, we will help you to learn some new skills.
Working in catering is a great alternative to working in the Hextol Tans kitchen, although you may be able to try both. Please take a look at our catering information leaflet.
